Presentation Description
Practical HR solutions - All organizations, regardless of size, must have clear employment policies. Well-designed HR policies not only ensure compliance with applicable legislation but also provide a structured framework that sets expectations for employee behavior. In addition, they promote consistency, fairness, and transparency in how employees are treated across the organization.

Melinda Moch from Hall & Larocque LLP will explore some of the most common (and costly) employment law issues employers face in today's workplace. We'll explore what happens in the event of termination, how to navigate workplace investigations, accommodation obligations, the ever-evolving conversation about social media posts, and policy enforceability. Attendees will leave with practical strategies to help reduce workplace risk and respond confidently when difficult employment issues arise.
